Preaching and Teaching Grace
A Church Ministry & Evangelistic Outreach
VISION STATEMENT: A refuge and safe haven of healing for the lost, with fellowship, growth and training for the future, where God is exalted and Jesus with Holy Spirit is glorified.
By the grace of God the Father alone are we made righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ poured out on Calvary's cross. Jesus is our high priest and by our faith in Him makes us acceptable before God. We are members of the New Covenant of Grace and released from the old Covenant of the Law. It is impossible for man to fulfill the law by himself. Jesus has fulfilled the law for us and thereby releases us to a new freedom based not on our works but His. This grace does not give us license to sin, but assures us of forgiveness because of Jesus sacrifice for us. We live and breathe and work for Him. We work because we are thankful and want to glorify God. We live a life of Holiness to honor Jesus and His sacrifice for us. We receive power from the Holy Spirit to minister, and spread the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe that the Gifts of The Holy Spirit are alive and well and available to all today. Cornerstone Family Worship Center was founded in 1978 and has changed over the years. But we have been ministering to the community ever since. We are a church in Love with Jesus! He has told us that we are all part of the Family of God and that we should welcome all who enter among us as if they have arrived home. When you visit us we hope you will be welcomed in the name of Jesus and feel His love coming from all the people.
This church is open, as is the kingdom of God, to all persons of all races and nationalities. We cherish the differences between us in the natural and the bond we have with Christ in the Spiritual. We believe that we have something to offer for everyone. At our church, we feel we have many opportunities for those who wish to find a place to worship, seek His face, find fellowship and acceptance, be fed in the word, grow spiritually, advance in knowledge, or serve God's Kingdom.
