A.R.K. Food Pantry

THAT NONE SHOULD HUNGER!

A MISSION OF COMPASSION

 SERVING OUR COMMUNITY SINCE 2005

A.R.K. - Almighty Righteous King

And the King shall answer and say unto them, "Verily I say unto you, in as much ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, you have also done it unto me." Matthew 25:40

As a service to our community in these hard economic times, and by the command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we offer a food pantry to subsidize needs. While we cannot offer food for every meal, every day, with our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, and The Emergency Food Assistance Program we can offer at least a part of the meal. (Please read the entire page for important information)

JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!       Of the many people that have come to our pantry and have requested prayer, the most requested prayers are for employment. We have recently seen God supply employment for many of the people and the people not having to return to the food pantry for food but have begun to help serve when possible. There is a wonderful move of God here. We know that God answers prayer and no one leaves without that type of food if they so desire.

Testimony: (name withheld on request), My husband didn't want me to come here. He dose not believe in handouts. But we would never have made it if it were not for your food pantry. I just stopped in to say thank you and God bless you for the work you are doing here. After receiving prayer my husband now has a good job and I will not be seeing you anymore. God bless you all!

NOTE: We now have a testimony wall in the pantry building; George Hall andit is quickly filling up with reports of jobs, healings, salvations, etc.

ALERT!!! We are now distributing over SIX (6) to Eight (8) TONS of food per month or 96 Tons per year. We are serving serving an average of 500 families per month which according to Government standards equates to 1,500 individuals per month or 18,000 people per year!   Praise God we were able to help!

Yet we need your help. Our church has a membership of 53 people and our funds are extremely limited. We want to do more but cannot do it alone. Yet we will persevere as the Lord supplies. Are you an answer to that prayer to do more? please consider partnering with us in prayer and financially. But pray that the number of people who need help, will decrease. Until then we will increase our capacity to serve as the Lord allows.

It is our desire that no one go hungry in body or spirit. While we offer you food we also offer our ministry to you. We will pray for you on the spot if you desire and or help to lead you to a real and lasting relationship with the Lord. Come with a hungry heart as well as a hungry body and be fed.

We have been blessed to pray for people and see results. We have even seen salvation through this important ministry!  We also prayed and fasted for 30 Days and were instructed of God to increase our budget for the pantry. We did so, and because we were faithful to Him, God has met that budget already and it is still growing, opening doors to supply for more food allowing us to serve more people. God Be Praised!! ---Pastor Jim

NEW BUILDING NEEDED!!!!

Current Location of A.R.K.

Current Location of A.R.K.

We have found ourselves in a position to need more room in order to serve the growing demand for food and social interaction with the community. In August of 2013 we passed the 3,000 served for the month mark. We feel we are being led by God to add a new building to our campus for the community and for the Food Pantry with the ability to increase those served. Also we will add to this a Soup Kitchen in order to feed people a hot meal. The building will be 80' x 120'x 20'  which will give us a 40' x 40' room for storage of food and walk-in freezers and coolers. A 20' X 40' commercial kitchen that will serve hot meals, with seating for over 400 people. In addition this building will serve as a Youth Center for the community and will give the young people of our area an alternative to just hanging out with nothing to do. Basketball, volley ball, table games, meetings and concerts are just some of the options we will have.

The building plans are complete we are waiting for the funds to move forward with this great undertaking. When God is ready, we are. Pray for us that we will meet at least $950,000.00 to complete this project. God has been opening doors of opportunity for us and we pray that you would be one of those doors. Help us to see this vision come to fruition. Support our outreach and / or our building project.
